Music theorist and composer, on the faculty of the Academy of Music in Cracow (PhD). In 1970-82 – music director and co-author of spectacles in the STU Theatre in Cracow. Author of several dozen publications on the avant-garde, jazz, minimalism, theatre, aesthetics, and axiology. He has collaborated with the Department of Aesthetics of the Jagiellonian University and the Chair of Intermedia at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Member of the Polish Association of Aesthetics and the Repertoire Committee of the IFCM “Warsaw Autumn”. In 2008-09 he served on the jury of the OPUS Public Media Award (in the category of contemporary classical music).
