MyJa97% (WeMe97%) - Nasta Niakrasava / Pavel Ryžkoŭ

is a reportage in music, sound, and word of social events that unfolded in Belarus after the presidential election of 9 August 2020. The falsified results and the astounding scale of violence and repression against citizens have woken up the Belarusian nation who gave the dictator a strong response. The composition includes the voices of people, hitherto unheard or barely heard: the voices of women, political prisoners, members of the armed forces condemning the actions of the authorities. The slogans that continue to resound on the streets of Belarus’s small towns and large cities, the screams of helpless people apprehended by the army, are interrupted by quoted from the Constitution and female singing, which as a white ribbon, is the symbol of the Belarusian revolution of dignity. 80% represents Us, the Belarusians who demand that force be given up with regard to demonstrators, an end put to tortures, the release of all political prisoners, and truly free elections.
