Composers from countries with different cultural traditions respond to Francis Alÿs’s films depicting children playing in places affected by conflict and destruction. This concert-installation a cooperation between four European new music festivals, with a guest appearance by the Ultima Festival and the Cikada ensemble, one of the leading groups on the Scandinavian contemporary music scene since its inception in 1989.
