Once again, Warsaw Autumn features an orchestra composed of young musicians of various nationalities, associated with the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and German universities, working under the guidance of tutors from Ensemble Recherche and conducted by Rüdiger Bohn. Their musical themes include clashes, drama and explosiveness versus the great calm of Wolfgang Rihm; chimneys, pipes, cables and other objects confronted with the instrumental sounds of Ricardo Eizirika; Maciej Kabza’s opposition to chaos and disintegration; Golnaz Shariatzadeh’s music about the loss of a loved one; Fausto Romitelli’s reaction to violence in public life. Works, creators and performers the exact opposite of indifference.

The Polish-German new music workshops with the participation of the European Workshop for Contemporary Music, a joint-venture of Warsaw Autumn and Podium Gegenwart Deutscher Musikrat, will take place on 16–22 September 2025 at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music.
