How does it happen that transformation is possible? How does our life change, and how does language change? verb(a)renne life! represents fire as a symbol of transformation. Something old has to get burned to make room for something new. Something crackles and sparkles in the fire. An ancient city is set aflame; a new city rises. New rules replace old ones. New codes, new connections, and new languages emerge. The traditional musical vocabulary is replaced in the composition with extended sounds and symbolic gestures of tearing paper and breaking sticks.
