Architect, artist and scenographer, running her own architectural studio that focuses on designing bazaars, art galleries, culture centres, parks, exhibitions, theatrical sets. Her works have been presented notably at the 12th International Architecture Exhibition during the Venice Biennale, the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, New York’s Guggenheim Museum, Seoul Arts Center, and Public Art Munich. She is the co-author of such books as Aporia. City is the CityWarsaw as an Emergent StructureEmergency Exit, as well as several volumes in the series Shadow Architecture. Her set designs and installations can be found in both state and private collections (for instance, The Black Island at the Zachęta – National Gallery of Art in Warsaw and CIVA Brussels). Her designs of buildings and public spaces have received awards notably including Polityka weekly’s Architecture Award (Grand Prix of Polish Architecture XXL). In her artistic practice, she combines architecture, the visual arts, and theatre with research and educational activities.
