Violist, chamber musician and educator, graduate of the Katowice Academy of Music (viola class of Dariusz Korcz). He studied chamber music performance with Marek Moś, Maria Szwajgier-Kułakowska, and Urszula Stańczyk, as well as taking part in masterclasses with Avri Levitan, Christoph Wyneken, and Doris Lederer. He received Dąbrowa Górnicza city mayoral scholarships, and participated of international festivals such as the Internationale Junge Orchesterakademie Bayreuth and the Idyllwild Arts Academy where he also took part in orchestral and chamber music courses. In 2008–9 he was solo violist of the Częstochowa Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. Since 2009 he has played in the Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, become viola section leader in 2014. He also appears as a soloist. He has played with orchestras such as NOSPR, Polish Art Philharmonic, AUKSO, and OMN New Music Orchestra, giving performances in Poland and other European countries, the United States, and Japan. He also records and performs live as a member of DankArt Quartet.

Rafał Woźniak teaches at the Szafranek State Primary and Secondary Music Schools in Rybnik. He has recorded many albums and given numerous concerts with the Silesian Philharmonic.
