Her interests focus on 20th-century Polish music as well as modern music. She is a lecturer at the Department of Music Theory and Aesthetics of the Institute of Musicology, Warsaw University. She held a scholarship from the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel (2005), and received the Hieronim Feicht Award from the Musicologists’ Section of the Polish Composers’ Union (2009, for her Ph.D. on the work and aesthetic ideas of Konstanty Regamey, written under the tutorship of Prof. Maciej Gołąb) as well as the Hosenfeld/Szpilman Gedenkpreis at the Lüneburg University (2011, for the multimedia exhibition Musik im okkupierten Polen 1939–1945). Her publications include numerous international conference papers (in Polish and English), music articles, translations and reviews (notably in 'Ruch Muzyczny'); she has also edited the aesthetic writings of Regamey (published by Universitas, 2010). She has prepared several exhibitions on Regamey that were shown at the Institute of Musicology of the Jagiellonian University, Warsaw University Library and the Polish Museum in Rapperswil. 
She is a member of the Board of the Witold Lutosławski Society (2004–2005; 2010-). She has cooperated with Polish Radio 2, the Warsaw Autumn Festival, Polish Music Information Centre, National Audiovisual Institute and record labels such as Channel Classics.
