Early school education specialist (ages 7–10) and culture educator, currently employed at the Stefan Starzyński Primary School no. 143 and Władysław Broniewski Youth Cultural Centre. As a teacher working in the area of cultural practices, she believes in pupils’ ability to think critically and creatively. Her professional practice is largely based on interdisciplinary project work and Janusz Korczak’s methodology. She leaves the children room to make their own decision, organise and co-create their educational process. She coordinates initiatives in which collaboration between children and adults is crucial to either party’s personal development. Trepkowska is a thrice winner of Warsaw Culture Education Prize for her school projects in the area of culture education (including the Grand Prix in 2019 for Enchanted Planet), co-author of school syllabuses in ecology and history. In her free time, she reads a lot, engages in her own writing projects, and creates batik visual objects.
