After hibernating for many years in Warsaw’s cellars, the Basilisk takes a walk in the city, which has changed beyond recognition. He meets the Prague Street Band, and here matters become complicated... 

The Basilisk, the Witch and the Band is a composition, or rather a miniature audio play, created together with the Little Gullivers theatre company from Warsaw’s Stefan Żeromski Primary School no. 28. The piece was inspired by the Praga Street Band monument, located near the Baj Puppet Theatre. The children created the script, wrote the dialogues, recorded the characters’ voices and instrument sounds, discovering some new sound production techniques in this process. They also sampled the gong-like sounds of the monument itself. My task was simply to put it all together into a whole.
