Owing its origin to intense collaboration between composer and performer (Dries Tack), the piece takes up the phenomenon of attention. By means of abstract sound and musical syntax, we create new situations that provide insights into the surrealist need for attention. Whether we aim to attract or reject it, it invariably functions as the main currency of scenes unfolding in time, such as music and theatre.
