builds a snapshot-like, polaroid-style sonic catalogue of Klangforum Wien’s and my own personal favourite, goosebump-inducing  musical moments from our personal histories. The piece sources  its material from a multitude of aesthetic directions representing  a long timeline of music history, all tied together in one musical  work that time-freezes heart-wrenching acoustic moments. It  explores the search for never-ending sonic pleasure, for prolonged ecstasy and moments of pure bliss.

The piece was commissioned by Wien Modern and premiered by  Klangforum Wien under the baton of Tim Anderson. With each  guest conductor, the work slightly changes, as each new conductor gets to put their own goosebump-inducing acoustic moments  from their personal history into the music.
