Through conversations with the children—and through discovering how each of them interpreted the features of the Szwoleżerów  housing estate—both the idea for the piece and its unfolding form took shape. The resulting composition is a kind of  map. It leads from the footbridge over Czerniakowska Street,  via the Piaseczyński Canal and past the historic sculptures, to  the “heart” of the labyrinthine estate. Each section has a distinct  character of its own, shaped by the associations that the chosen  features of the estate inspired in the pupils’ imaginations.
