accordion player, soloist and chamber musician, arranger and composer, session musician, born in 1981 in Starachowice. He graduated from the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Łódź, obtaining his PhD in 2012 and habilitation in 2019. He is currently on the faculty of the same academy. 

As a soloist and chamber musician, he has given concerts with the orchestras of Łódź, Koszalin, Lublin, Kalisz, Gorzów, and Kielce philharmonics, as well as Radom Chamber Orchestra. He has recorded albums with music by such composers as Zbigniew Bargielski, Bogdan Dowlasz, Andrzej Krzanowski, Paweł Łukowiec, Mikołaj Majkusiak, Krzysztof Olczak, Bronisław Kazimierz Przybylski, and Artur Zagajewski. His solo CD Leszek Kołodziejski | Works (Ars Sonora, 2018) comprises his own accordion music in versions for chamber ensemble. With Iza Połońska and the Polish Cello Quartet, he has recorded A Landscape without You (DUX, 2019), arrangements of songs by Jeremi Przybora and Jerzy Wasowski. He regularly cooperates with theatres in Łódź (Stefan Jaracz Theatre, Studyjny, Arlekin Puppet Theatre, Mały at the Manufaktura, and Nowy) as a performer, arranger, and composer of original music and arrangements for stage shows. 

Kołodziejski has won prizes in national and international music competitions including Arrasate-Mondragón, Castelfidardo, Klingenthal, Copenhagen, Poprad, Pula, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Czechowice-Dziedzice, Gdańsk, Cracow, Przemyśl, and Wrocław, as both soloist and chamber musician. He was also the recipient of the Young Poland scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2009) as well as four other scholarships of this Ministry (1997, 1999, 2003, and 2005).
