Yes, it is a dramatic work which appears to feature but one person of the drama. And true, the narrative is developed by commenting on the quoted train of thought. Naturally, it speaks of itself and of what does or might concern it. Is it a one-man-show, though, or a classic monodrama? Not really, since the protagonist is made up of the musician and... drum, The Drum. The Gran Cassa.
