Triptyque - Agata Zubel
Contrary to what the wise might say, what was is far from obvious.
Contrary to what those present might think, what is... is in fact not at all.
Rather, it falls to pieces with highest clockwork precision,
or conversely, it brings together the ever-changing tangle of events “hereabouts and now.”
Contrary to what the self-con dent might claim, nobody knows whether what will be, will be an image of triumph, or an elegy.
Should a triptych be one whole?
Yes, because it’s what its course depends on
as long as we are ready to examine each of these states separately.
