Born in Pisa in 1993, he graduated in percussion instruments from the Pietro Mascagni Conservatoire in Livorno under the guidance of Jonathan Faralli. He also studied composition with Giovanni Verrando, Daniele Ghisi, Andrea Agostini, Fabio De Sanctis De Benedictis, Claudio Vaira, and others. He attended masterclasses with Francesco Filidei, Stefano Gervasoni, Fabien Lévy, Alessandro Perini, Jaime Reis, Marco Stroppa, Alberto Carretero, Marco Liuni, Alessandro Solbiati, Alessandro Melchiorre, Ivan Fedele, Christian Hamouy, Christopher Austin, and others. As a percussionist, he is a member of the Italian contemporary ensemble Endkadenz. focusing on performing music written in the most recent years. He has appeared at festivals in Poland (Sacrum Profanum, Warsaw Autumn) and Italy: Musica Contemporanea di Bologna, with the percussion ensemble of the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Pietro Mascagni during the Suoni Inauditi festival in Livorno, as well as a soloist of the chamber ensemble ORT (Florence). As a composer, he has received numerous commissions. 

He teaches composition at Milan’s Scuola Internazionale di Musica, and since 2022 he has also taught percussion at the Gian Andrea Bussi Secondary Music Schol in Vigevano, as well as the Pietro Mascagni Conservatoire in Livorno. Since 2017, he has also run masterclasses in composition, electronic music, music theory, and musical analysis, notably at the International Workshop for Young Composers in Monferrato (with Francesco Filidei and Fabien Lévy), Casa della Musica San Michele in Montaldeo (with Alessandro Perini, Stefano Gervasoni, Marco Liuni, and Jaime Réis during the Livorno festival). 

He also works as a judo instructor.
