Ziemio, co słychać (Earth, What’s Up?) - Martyna Kacprowicz, Kajetan Dziak
Have you ever wondered how Earth would answer such a question? Let’s stop for a moment and listen.
On the map, there are metal points connected to an Arduino board. Data about the point you touch goes to the computer. This triggers a rotation of the Earth in the appropriate direction and a series of generated sounds originating from that place in the world. The longer the points are touched, the more the Earth reddens and the sound is distorted. At the climax, the sound fades away, a characteristic ticking remains, and the Earth becomes black and white. After a few seconds, it returns to its normal state.
