Composer and sound artist residing in Stavanger and Riga. He graduated in composition and sonology from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. After graduation, he discovered the inner beauty of electric circuits and turned his attention towards sound sculpture. He transforms them into objects of art and architectonic structures. Brandal uses the sound and light medium to establish a bond between the audience and the futurist sculptures, and to turn those objects into autonomous subjects of communication. Brandal’s installations are known to audiences in many European countries, including Finland, Norway, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and France. In Poland they will be presented for the first time.
