A contemporary music composer born (1999) and raised in Hong Kong, currently based in The Hague. After graduating with a first-class honours BMus degree in composition and electronic music from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2021, Yeung received her MMus in composition from the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague as a nominee for the Excellence Scholarship in 2023. Her works range from orchestral to electronic and chamber works for instruments, to interdisciplinary projects based on experimental participation. 

Her music has been performed across Europe and Asia, at such events as La Biennale di Venezia, Muzički Biennale Zagreb, Transit Festival Belgium, Gaudeamus Muziekweek, Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, November Music Festival in the Netherlands, at venues such as Theater Münster, Dutch National Opera and Ballet, by ensembles such as Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Klangforum Wien, Orkest De Ereprijs, Les Percussions de Strasbourg, HERMESensemble, Residentie Orkest, Calefax Reed Quintet, Mivos Quartet, New European Ensemble, PROJECT21stHK, and ICTUS Ensemble, among others. One of her compositions became a recommended work in the under-30 age category at the 68th International Rostrum of Composers in Palermo, Italy, and won the New Composers’ Pitch Prize at the New Music Conference of November Music 2021 festival at ’s-Hertogenbosch.
