Commissioned by the Warsaw Autumn as part of the space®opera project, this piece emerged in collaboration with 3rd Grade students from the Stefan Starzyński Primary School no. 143 in Warsaw. The imagined narrative layer is that of a tale told by the stairs from their own perspective. Can stairs suffer or rejoice? What are stairs waiting for? Is it again “that Ann, or even better Caroline”? The audience will be able to explore these questions along with the composer and the work’s co-creators.
