The miniature is wholly made up of improvised sounds produced by children. For their musical interpretation of the Lindley Bench, they have used water, bowls, pipes, their own hands and mouths. Some of the sounds come from the monument itself as explored by the young workshop participants. The resulting music is mysterious and ambiguous, filled with childlike energy. The sound of water and those of other elements intermingle, and voices can be heard from afar. Could it be Lindley himself, speaking to us from the otherworld?
