Chojnacki, Zbigniew
Born in 1992, he is an accordionist, electronic musician, and improviser who can also compose.
With his accordion and a multitude of live electronics, he is ready to take musical risks without a safety net. His improvisations oscillate between ambient, noise, drone, jazz, electronics, and broadly understood chamber music. Each encounter between the artist, the audience, the space, and the instrument is completely different from all previous and subsequent ones—at times relaxed, at times hurried, but always on the way to new melodic connections.
He has performed at festivals such as A L’Arme! in Berlin, Sharpe in Bratislava, LEM in Barcelona, Ring Ring in Belgrade, WOS in Santiago de Compostela, Oct-Loft Jazz Festival in Shenzhen, PIF in Castelfidardo, Musikprotokoll in Graz, Avant Art in Warsaw, WORM in Rotterdam, Skaņu Mežs in Riga, La Nature in Vielsalm, Oslo Jazz Festival, Tallinn Music Week, Athens Digital Arts Festival, Valkhof Festivalin Nijmegen, and Sonic Territories in Vienna.
