Żukowski, Włodzimierz
Composer, improviser, lighting director, multimedia artist. He is primarily interested in musical composition, but also explores related are as such as generative art, light, visual arts, and creative coding, which combine into interconnected interdisciplinary works, often drawing on original, non-standard technological solutions. His works have been performed by ensembles such as Ensemble MusikFabrik, NeueVocalsolisten Stuttgart, Kwartludium, Chopin University Modern Ensemble, and his installations have been presented at the Warsaw Autumn Festival.
Improvised music is also an important area of his activity. He has cocreated improvised projects with Bartosz Mularski, Patrycja Kołodziejska, and Olga Pasek.
He is a co-founder of Collectif 4, a band and foundation through which he coorganises contemporary music concerts. As a band, Collectif 4 co-organizes contemporary music concerts.
