In Interventions, created in cooperation with flutist Phoebe Bognár (#1, #2) and violinist Anna Kwiatkowska (#3, #4, #5), I seek a respite from traditional concert formats, a way to go beyond auditoria, and to build a community around sound—on new, non-obvious terms.

We need new art, new music – just as we need a breath of fresh air. Wind will become the sound material for two interventions performed by Phoebe Bognár. We need community to face the alienation of the modern world, to stand together against the threats of our time. Anna Kwiatkowska’s three interventions will explore the community-building potential of sound.
