Contexts is a series of discussions on the cultural, political, civilisational, and even physical environment surrounding sound art. The series’ idea arose from the conviction that new music is part of the same reality in which we are preoccupied with ideas and various conditions of life and creativity, both on a social and individual level. An important element of Contexts is the word. It is the place where music, meaning, and reality come together. Contexts is about encounters and conversations. Both of these forms serve to bring people closer together and promote mutual understanding in their coexistence.
