He graduated from the Faculty of Theatre Directing at the Ludwik Solski State Theatre School in Cracow. He has cocreated productions staged at theatres in Warsaw, Cracow, Wałbrzych and across Silesia, many of which have subsequently been presented and honoured at theatre festivals in Poland and abroad.
His work encompasses both drama and new theatre for young audiences. He has worked on three productions for young audiences developed within the Jan Dorman Competition, organised by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute. For Jeroen Van Haele’s Silent Sea, directed by Łukasz Zaleski at Nowy Theatre Zabrze, Nosal served as dramaturge and created the adaptation and video elements. Performed in spoken Polish and Polish Sign Language for deaf and hearing children, the production won the 2018 Golden Mask for Best Production for Young Audiences. Nosal is also the author of Tajemnica góry (Mystery of the Mountain), on which Łukasz Zaleski based his winning proposal in the inaugural competition of the Youth Theatre Institute at Ludowy Theatre in Cracow. Nosal’s distinctions include artistic scholarships from the City of Warsaw, in visual arts and design, and from the Mayor of Wałbrzych.
