Bożek-Muszyńska, Aleksandra
Dancer, choreographer, performer, improviser, business trainer, translator and philologist. Since 2023 she has cocurated, with Ilona Trybuła, the Improvised Dance Scene [sic!] Saute at Centrum Łowicka in Warsaw.
Movement, sound and the spoken word come together in her artistic practice. She works both independently and in collectives, also creating choreography for other dance and theatre companies. She has devised more than a dozen original choreographies, presented in cities including Berlin, Budapest, Melbourne, New York, Philadelphia, Vienna and Warsaw.
Bożek-Muszyńska received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in 2024. She was also a scholarship holder at the Alternative Dance Academy, a programme of the Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk (2015–17), and a beneficiary of the Global Practice Sharing programme at Movement Research in New York. She completed the Experimental Choreography II course organised by Centre in Motion performing arts centre in Warsaw.
