Conquest of Music was founded in 2012 as the school choir of  the Holy Family Catholic Primary School no. 109 in Warsaw.  Its singers are pupils in Years 3–8. The ensemble’s name reflects  the idea at the heart of its work: actively “conquering music”  through shared music-making and cooperative artistic projects. Since its foundation, the choir has taken part in the Singing  Poland programme. It provides music for school ceremonies  and develops concert projects of its own, including patriotic  and Christmas carol programmes. It has appeared at the Chopin  University of Music, Polish Radio’s Witold Lutosławski Concert  Studio, and Grand Theatre – Polish National Opera.

The choir’s competition successes include 1st Prize at the Where  Have All the Flowers Gone?, 1st Prize at the Mazovia Regional  Choir Competition of Singing Poland, 3rd Prize in the national  Young Musical Talents Competition, and 1st Prize place at  the Just Sing Choral Festival.
