Founded in 2019 to mark the bicentenary of Stanisław Moniuszko’s birth, Chór Pana Moniuszki is a rapidly developing vocal  ensemble. It was established by the conducting duo of Aleksandra  Kopp and Jadwiga Małecka; Małecka is now its conductor and  artistic director. The choir works and develops in close partnership with two institutions: the OKej Municipal Cultural Centre in  Brwinów and Włodzimierz Puchalski Primary School in Otrębusy. From the outset, the choir has taken part in Singing Poland,  the National Forum of Music’s prestigious nationwide choraleducation programme for the best choral ensembles. Its first  public appearance came at the programme’s final concert in  the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw. Mr Moniuszko’s Choir regularly wins awards at regional and  national festivals, earning particular praise for its performances  of classical, sacred and Christmas repertoire.

The ensemble often ventures beyond conventional choral performance, successfully combining singing with acting and stage  movement. In September 2025 it appeared at EUROTREFF international children’s and youth choir festival in Wolfenbüttel.  In July 2026 it took part in the Toscana Music Festival in Montecatini Terme.
