unfolds a language of remembrance and reminiscence, approaching memory from different angles: cultural memory, bodily memory, personal memory. Through acts of memorisation, repetitions  and variations, through movement and voice, a group of people  seem to search for a path towards something important. Memoriam reminds us of the value of communities, and of  the rituals and traditions that enable them to pass on experiences from one time to another. In an uncertain present, the past resonates with hopes and fears directed towards a bleak future. Memoriamwas written and composed by Niels Rønsholdt in  2022 for the collaborative stage work created by Tim Matiakis,  Anna Berit Asp Christensen and Niels Rønsholdt. Memoriam is  performed by Scenatet and the dancer Marie Kaae. The work was  commissioned by Scenatet with support from the Danish Arts  Foundation.
