Postmuzyka / Post-Music - Adam Porębski
It unfolds in the space between sound and its shadow. It is a story of what remains after music: of its traces, reflections, imaginings and distortions. In the world of the piece, nothing is fixed once and for all: the sources of sound prove unreliable, narratives split and overlap, and the boundary between an event and its memory gradually fades. The concert becomes a space of particular tension between presence and absence, reality and projection, focus and doubt. The music constantly eludes its own definition, leaving the listener in a space of questions to which there is no single answer. Perhaps it is precisely there—beyond the music—that its most intriguing part begins.
