Grand S3KTOR goes to the Polish Composers’s Union' Union

The Polish Composers’ Union, organiser notably of the Warsaw Autumn and Warsaw Music Meetings festivals, has been awarded the Grand S3KTOR, a significant recognition granted for the last 15 years by the City of Warsaw to non-governmental organisations for their activities for the common good.

The Grand S3KTOR is a lifetime achievement award, given to particularly meritorious organisations that have been working for Warsaw and its residents for at least 10 years. This year, 51 organisations were nominated and the winner was selected by the Warsaw Council for Charities. We would just like to remind you that the Polish Composers’ Union has been working for 100 years (80 years under the current name) not only for Warsaw and its residents; it is an organisation with branches throughout Poland. And ZKP's best-known brand is the Warsaw Autumn Festival.

The award was received jointly by Beata Bolesławska-Lewandowska, the newly elected president of the Polish Composers’ Union, and Mieczysław Kominek, president from 2015 to 2025.
