Born in 1977, journalist, composer, organist, sound producer. From 1998, he has worked at the Belarusian Radio where he hosts cultural programmes and comments on international cultural events such as Eurovision Young Musicians, New Talent in Bratislava, and so forth.
He chairs the experts committee of the Belarusian Radio and coordinates the recording exchange with the European Broadcasting Union as well live concerts broadcasts. He represented Belarus at the European Broadcasting Union music experts’ seminars in Geneva and London. He records regularly for the Belarusian Radio as well as Naxos, Acte Préalable, ARMS Records, ForTune, and Megavox. His recording of the violin music of Marian Sawa (Naxos, 2016) was shortlisted for the Fryderyk Award. He is the main organist at the Trinity (St Roch) Church in Minsk. Since 2000, he has organized the Zalatagorskaya Lira and Kalyadnya Vechory festivals of sacred music. He gives organ concerts in Belarus, Poland, and Germany, focusing particularly on the music of modern composers.
He chairs the Organ and Musical Heritage Section of the Belarusian Section of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). He was a member of the editorial board of the Organs of Belarus encyclopaedia (2018). As a composer, he specialises in radio and documentary film music (for the Letapis and Belarusfilm studios). Since 2016, he has cooperated with the Janka Kupała National Theatre, where he created music for the plays Shabany (2016), Elsa’s Worls (2018), and Nobleman Zavalnya (2019). He has been the vice-president of the Belarusian composers’ Union since 2018.
