born in 1994, in his works he looks for musical objects from the past, which he places in new contexts. His interests include camping, songs by Roxette, story-within-a-story narratives, and everyday life. 

Malinowski completed his studies with Simon Steen-Andersen, Niels Rønsholdt, and Juliana Hodkinson at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, as well as at the Academy of Music in Cracow (honours degree) under Wojciech Widłak, with whom he is currently completing a PhD. He has developed his skills at workshops and masterclasses taught notably with Eivind Buene, Pierluigi Billone, Bernhard Lang, Stefan Prins, Kaija Saariaho, Marco Stroppa, and Jennifer Walshe. 

He has worked closely with contemporary music ensembles such as Airborne Extended, Duo Van Vliet, Kompopolex, Ensemble Modern, Friction Quartet, Hashtag Ensemble, Momenta Quartet, NJYD, Corda Cracovia orchestra, New Music Orchestra, and Contemporary Ensemble Music Cooperative. In 2020/21 he took part in London Philharmonic Orchestra’s LPO Young Composers project. 

His accolades include the 1st Prize in the Tadeusz Baird Young Composers’ Competition (2017) and a scholarship for outstanding students awarded by the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2017/18). His Robotron represented Polish Radio at the 66th International Rostrum of Composers (2019).
