he graduated from the flute class of Barbara Świątek-Żelazna at the Academy of Music in Cracow, and with distinction from the High School of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart, having studied solo flute with the legendary French flutist JeanClaude Gérard. He took part in flute masterclasses run notably by Peter-Lukas Graf, Michael Martin Kofler, Julius Baker, Marina Piccinini, János Bálint, Philippe Bernold, Trevor Wye, and Jeanne Baxtresser, and in projects of the International Bach Akademie Festival Orchestra. In addition, he cooperated with the Bach Collegium Stuttgart and Ensemble 94. Since June 2004 he has been the head flutist of the Sinfonia Varsovia orchestra. 

As a soloist, he has appeared with the orchestras of the Poznań, Szczecin, and Cracow philharmonics, Capella Cracoviensis, Sinfonietta Cracovia, and on many occasions with Sinfonia Varsovia. He has given recitals and chamber concerts notably in Paris, Stendal, Stuttgart, Nantes, Cracow, Warsaw, Poznań, and Łańcut. Since 2010 he has been a member of Sinfonia Varsovia’s Wind Quintet, participating in a variety of chamber and educational projects. His other cooperators include Quatuor Psophos, Trio Wanderer, and harpist Sylvain Blassel. 

In the 2006/7 academic year he was junior flute lecturer at the Cracow Academy of Music. He also lectured at two editions of the Sinfonia Varsovia Academy and currently conducts classes in orchestral repertoire for the flute at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. 

He received an honorary diploma at the Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona (2001) and the 5th Prize at the International Flute Competition in Dracow (2003). His other distinctions include scholarships from the Polish Ministry of Culture and Art, award of the European Foundation for Culture Pro Europa, a scholarship from the Hans und Eugenia Jütting – Stiftung Stendal, and a scholarship from the City of Cracow. 

He plays a golden Mehnert flute bought by the SV, Hans Reiner piccolo flute, as well as Carl August Schreiber and Jochen Mehnert wooden flutes.
