Krzyżanowski, Marcin
cellist, composer, performer, new art theorist, he graduated from Cracow’s Academy of Music in the cello class of Leon Solecki. He took private composition lessons with Bogusław Schaeffer. He cooperates with performance artists and creates sound-andvision intermedia art, including TV projects on the contemporary avant-garde. In 1992–2000 he coauthored Polish TV Channel Two broadcasts: Chimera, Night of the Cicadas, Art-Night, Marcin K.’s Hypermedia Waveband, and Folk Tunes.
He frequently takes part in creative music (graphic score interpretation) and intuitive music projects. He is the originator of the Res Factum cycle, combining verbal content with live sound, and the composer of autonomous works as well as music for theatre, film, television, and radio. He has contributed to graphic score exhibitions and to multimedia projects presented in galleries of visual art.
He has held a scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2019.
