Majewski, Artur
trumpeter, improviser, and composer, born in 1978. He has performed notably at the Gdynia Summer Jazz Days, JVC Warsaw Jazz Festival, Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, Sergey Kuryokhin Festival in Berlin, Eurosonic Festival in Groningen, Jazzfestival Saalfelden, Leipzig Jazz Days, Jazz Im Goethe Garten Festival in Lisbon, Tel Aviv White Night Festival, World Music Festival, and Umbrella Music Festival, both in Chicago.
He has recorded 25 original albums on Delmark Records, Clean Feed, Not Two, FSR, and his own SoundTrap Records with ensembles such as Mikrokolektyw, Foton Quartet, Kaluza/Majewski/ Mazur/Suchar Tone Hunting, Robotobibok, Fernandez/Majewski/ Mazur trio, as well as a soloist.
