Written for Kwadrofonik ensemble, premiered during the Ad Libitum festival in 2021, the piece makes use of the basedes, an instrument built by Paweł Romańczuk. Danses polonaises 2 is related to Danses polonaises, which I composed in 2020 as a commission from the Donaueschinger Musiktage, but whose premiere has been postponed until October 2022 due to the pandemic.
