Creative movement artist, dancer, choreographer of interdisciplinary creative movement processes; educator, coordinator, and internationally recognised freelancer. She graduated in performative dance and pedagogy from the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität Linz, in dance (as an exchange student) from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, in dance composition from the Poznań University of Social Sciences (WSUS), and in social politics from the Poznań University of Economics and Business, as well as completing the Seedbed training course for inclusive dance teachers. Jurek is a Stopgap company trainee, member of Exim Dance Company, an activist for balanced dance development and for increasing its accessibility. She is currently a cocreator projects such as Perfect Man (Tati Cholewa and Łukasz Wójcicki) and Co-Lab (Kevin James French). Awarded in the Dance and Disability 2020 programme, Jurek was an ARTiL_2019 dancer during that international platform’s tour in Poland, Ukraine, and Austria.
