Multimedia artist and theatre photographer, collaborating with Poland’s leading theatres and theatre directors, in recent years mostly a lighting director. She also creates short films for the needs of theatrical and operatic spectacles. She coauthored the book Mountains. Get Away from the City. As a lighting director she has collaborated with, among others, Anna Smolar (Warsaw’s Powszechny Theatre), Justyna Sobczyk and Jakub Skrzywanek (Szczecin’s Współczesny Theatre), Jędrzej Piaskowski (Cracow’s National Stary Theatre, Stefan Żeromski Theatre in Kielce, Juliusz Osterwa Theatre in Lublin), Katarzyna Minkowska and Magdalena Miklasz (Warsaw’s Dramatyczny Theatre), Piotr Pacześniak (Poznań’s Polski Theatre), and Beniamin Bukowski (Cracow’s National Stary Theatre). As a photographer she has worked, among others, for Warner Bros, and conducted numerous photo sessions. Stolarska holds a doctorate in fine arts. She graduated from the Faculty of Art at Cracow’s Pedagogical University.
