Composer, clarinettist, and improviser, she has cooperated notably with Ensemble intercontemporain, Ensemble Modern, WDR Symfonieorchester, Klangforum Wien, Musikfabrik, Trio Catch, Mivos Quartet, Sinfonią Varsovia, Polish Radio Orchestra, Lüneburger Symphoniker, AUKSO, Silesian Quartet, Kwartludium, Ensemble Garage, IEMA, hand werk, Schwerpunkt, Internationale Ensemble Modern Akademie, Music Cooperative, Ensemble for New Music Tallinn, United Instruments of Lucilin, electronic ID, Broken Frames Syndycate, Kollektiv3:6Koeln, AKOM, Chopin University Modern Ensemble, and Sinfonietta Pomerania.
She graduated from the High School of Music and Dance in Cologne in the composition class of Brigitta Muntendorf, as well as the composition class of Aleksander Kosciów and Stanisław Moryto and the clarinet class of Wojciech Mrozek at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She also studied philosophy (postgraduate studies) at the Warsaw University. She currently runs an instrumentation and computer music composition class at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Her works have been featured at international festivals including the ManiFeste (IRCAM), Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik (WDR3), Lucerne Festival, Ultraschall, Acht Brücken, Orgel-Mixturen (Deutschlandfunk), Tampere Biennale, Warsaw Autumn, Sacrum Profanum, Festival of Premieres, Ad Libitum, Korvat Auki Helsinki, ON-Cologne, Avant Art, AudioArt, Tomasz Stański Jazz Autumn, High Noon Musik 2000+ in Constance, Cluster in Lucca, Warsaw Musical Meetings, and New Waves in Gdańsk. She has notably participated in ManiFeste Academy (IRCAM), Luxembourg Composition Academy, Lucerne Festival Academy, Donaueschinger Musiktage’s Next Generation. She has received compositional consultations of Georg Friedrich Haas, Wolfgang Rihm, Dieter Ammann, Simon Steen-Andersen, Enno Poppe, Alexander Schubert, Michael Beil, Marko Nikodijevic, Caspar Johannes Walter, Carola Bauckholt, Manos Tsangaris, and Mathias Spahlinger, among others.
Her scholarships include the Bernd Alois Zimmermann in Cologne (2019), Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage’s, Young Poland programme, the Marshall of the Warmian– Masurian Voivodeship, and the Dean of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
In her works, he often refers to nature, physics, philosophy, contemporary social issues, and human relationships. She composes instrumental music, which he combines with electronics, as well as with choreography, video, lights, installations, and scents.
