A theatre and voice actress, educator, writer, workshop script author and planner, theatre director, mother of nine-year-old Rozalka. She likes to explore the borderland between concert and spectacle, education and play, the physical and the abstract. She runs the educational events programme at the Polish Royal Opera and the ĄsąBąble family cycle at Hashtag Lab Contemporary Music Space.

Szawiel graduated from the Białystok Department of Puppet Theatre Arts of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, in journalism from the University of Warsaw, and from the State Secondary Music School in Białystok. Her educational and theatre activities involve storytelling, documentaries, movement and work with the body, the theatre of form, graphics, and theatrical education methodology. In her free time, she enjoys mushrooming, yoga, neurodiversity practice, indulging in reflection (preferably in a hammock). For several years now, she has been planning to set up a foundation and stop drinking coffee on an empty stomach.
