Born in Tomaszów Mazowiecki; a mandolin and banjo player, music producer and DJ, he graduated in cultural studies from Cracow’s Ignatianum University. As a musician, he first sang in the Tomaszów-based punk band Ziemniaki in the 1990s, later played the guitar in the metal band Crowmoth. Since 2007 he has played the mandola in the folk band Południca!, with which he recorded two CDs: Delayed Entry into the 21st Century and The Queen of Czechoslovakia. Since 2010, he has also performed in Hanka Wojciak’s Band, which won the 46th Student Song Festival. Since 2013 he has played the banjo and sung in the folk punk street band Hańba!, which draws on the urban repertoire of Poland between the world wars, playing punk on folk instruments. Hańba! has given several dozen concerts in Poland and abroad, as well as winning several awards. Andrzej is also a co-founder of Cracow-based record label Karoryfer Lecolds.
