Pauline Oliveros The Wanderer (1982) for accordions and percussion
Hubert Zemler, Robert Piotrowicz Bye, Bye, Butterfly (2025) favola in musica for percussion ensemble, electronics and interactive video
Pauline Oliveros’s legendary work in a version for fifteen accordions and percussion: an opportunity for both “deep listening” and a leap into jocularity, revealing a lesser-known side of the composer; followed by a musical performance by the Deaf Percussion Orchestra with sign language poetry, percussion and low-frequency vibrations.
Coorganisers: Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Stanisław Brzozowski Association, Automatophone Phoundation, Polish Union of the Deaf The performance is presented as part of the Warsaw Autumn and Opera for the Deaf festivals and the enactment of the public task titled “Jasna 10: Social Cultural Institution,” financed by the City of Warsaw. The project was also cofinanced by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund.
