Born in 1966, he is the cofounder of the Moon group (1991), reactivated in 2014. For twenty years, he has explored traditional music of central and eastern Poland from the ethnographic and practical perspective. He was one of the founders of the dance house movements in Poland. He published some of his field recordings on numerous CD from the In Crudo series. As a composer, he usually combines traditional “folk” repertoire, means of expression, instruments, and recording artefacts with timbral and formal experiments.
