The aim of this fourth conference dedicated to Polish music abroad is to study and comment on the role and signi cance of the “Warsaw Autumn” International Festival of Contemporary Music in the music and musical life of countries situated on both sides of the Iron Curtain, before and after its fall. The participants are musicologists from Europe, Canada, the United States, and Australia.
