Born in 1986, Ukrainian composer, sound artist, and performer, residing in Germany. She studied composition in Kyiv and Munich with Moritz Eggert. In her works, she uses acoustic instruments, voice, electronics, sound objects, and dance. She collaborates with both professional and amateur musicians, as well as non-musicians. She performs contemporary music herself as a singer and on keyboard instruments, as well as directing musical projects. 

Korsun teaches composition at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam, as well as at international courses. She has participated in international new music festivals such as Éclat, ISCM World New Music Days, Warsaw Autumn, Musica Strasbourg, and Darmstadt International Summer Courses for New Music. She has cooperated with new music ensembles such as Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, Mosaik, Ascolta, Ensemble Modern, Asko|Schönberg, Camerata Silesia, Silbersee, as well as Munich’s Theaterakademie August Everding and Cracow’s AST National Academy of Theatre Arts. She was an artist-in-residence at Villa Massimo in Rome, the New Music Goethe-Institut in Canada, Academy Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, and the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. She has received a number of accolades.
