Poniński, Jacek
graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw, Department of Puppet Art in Białystok in 1989.
He made his debut in 1983 at the Juliusz Osterwa Theatre in Gorzów Wielkopolski in Jerzy Andrzejewski’s Darknesses Cover the Earth (dir. S. Mikuć). In 1984–85 he performed at the Dramatyczny Theatre in Elbląg. In 1989–94 he was an actor at the Jan Kochanowski Dramatyczny Theatre in Opole. Since 1996, he has worked at the Guliwer Puppet Theatre in Warsaw. Apart from theatre roles, he has played cameos in TV series and dubbings. He is cofounder of the Teatr na Wagance, staging the show Wysocki, czyli Przerwany lot by Szczepan Szczykno.
