Twarowski, Błażej
Born in 1989 in Białystok, actor, dancer, stage movement artist. He is a graduate of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw, Department of Puppet Art in Białystok, where he has also been a junior lecturer.
In 2015–21 he was a member of the Kubuś Puppet and Acting Theatre in Kielce, where he played in shows staged notably by Bartłomiej Ostapczuk, Krzysztof Popiołek, Robert Drobniuch, Daria Kopiec, Martyna Majewska, Judyta Berłowska, Agata Kucińska, Michał Walczak, as well as in the award-winning show by Marek Zákostelecký Pod adresem marzeń.
Since 2011 he has been a board member of the Latarnia Theatre Foundation and an actor of its sister theatre. His stage aspirations are linked to dance, which he has practiced since the age of five. As a student, he has practiced ballroom dance for many years, winning awards in national and international competitions. Currently, he explores various styles of dancing as a choreography author, combining his experience as a dancer and theatre artist. He has authored the stage movement for shows directed by Robert Drobniuch: Cinderella after Joël Pommerat at the Henryk Ryl Arlekin Puppet Theatre in Łódź and Anna Andraki’s Robinson at the Ateneum Puppet and Acting Theatre in Katowice. At the Banialuka Puppet Theatre in Bielsko-Biała, he has authored the stage movement for Gro Dhale’s We Have Hair, directed by Anita Piotrowska. He has also cooperated with the Coincidentia Group in the music show Bezbrzeża after Schubert’s Lieder.
